"The saying goes that the two happiest days of a boater's life are the day he buys his boat--and the day he sells it. Tom had owned a boat for a while and completely agreed with this age old aphorism. Today, however, he wondered how he was supposed to feel about renting a boat. Should he be happy he didn't actually own this floating RV in the middle of nowhere? Or should he continue to silently wish he hadn't agreed to be the skipper for the week?"
I know I shouldn't be writing actual words for my novel until November 1. But I had to get this much captured. I promise I won't count these 88 words when the time comes (unless I already have 50,000 other words).
