I'm Writing a Book?

November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) and I've signed up to do the deed.

Can I really write 50,000 semi-coherent fiction words in 30 days? I haven't really written any fiction since... well... probably high school, quite a few years ago. But it's something I've long thought I would like to do, so I'm going to take a whack at it. Maybe I'll also find some time to register some semi-coherent thoughts about what I'm doing here. At the very least, I suppose I will track of my current word count here.

Tomorrow is the big day. Better get in some quality hours of television tonight. Onward!
